Pink and Orange Butterfly (2018) Linocut print from a limited edition of 30

Artwork description:

This is a linocut of a pink and orange blended colour butterfly on a green background.

The print was created using three blocks for the 3 colours. This technique keeps the colours bright and vibrant.

It is part of my miniature collection. Small but lovely pieces of art.

The printed area is 7cm by 7cm and the Japanese paper is 13cm by 11cm.

Quality, artist oil relief inks and paper are used, just the same as my larger prints.

The print will be send backed with board and wrapped in cellophane. It will be posted in a card board envelope.

Included is a certificate of authenticity, which also explains the process used.

There are only 30 prints in this edition, which has 3 colour combinations. You can choose from a Yellow, Pink or Blue butterfly, just take a look at my listings.

Materials used:

japanese paper, inks, lino
