*Light of the Moon

This one-block reduction lino cut by Kirstie Dedman shows a view of the moon, inspired by a star-gazing trip up a volcano in Tenerife. Created using transparent inks and black, the work explores light and shadow through a graphic approach.

Made using the reduction lino cut process, a single block is carved and printed in stages, creating a limited edition. Printed on Fabriano paper with artist-quality Caligo inks.

Paper size is 36.7 cm by 26.5 cm and the print size is 30.6cm by 20.4cm
